That’s right. The blog is back for another round of plugging upcoming gigs. You’ve got your choice of two venues this week. But, they’re so incredibly different that we honestly can’t imagine NOT going to both.
First, we’ll be at Left Bank on Tuesday, June 30, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. It’s part of the Flavors of Jazz series put on by the San Jose Jazz Society, and and is a tradition we need to keep alive in the South Bay. Plus, everyone I know who has eaten there loves it. They say it’s French comfort food. We won’t be playing comfort rock, but we’d like to think we’ll add to your drinking and/or dining experience and help make you more comfortable.
Then, a scant two nights later, we’ll be rocking (or jazzing and reggae-ing) the house at Gordon Biersch in San Jose on Thursday, July 2. If you’ve been there before, you know exactly why you need to come back. The outdoor patio dining area is phenomenal, the beer is amazing, the food is great and the music is us from about 8 p.m. on through laaaate.
Now, if you’re new to us, let us help you there. After all, the name of this blog entry was “Plug and Brag.” We’ve got the plugging covered, and here’s the brag section. We were THRILLED to read some nice remarks about ARQ from RIDGE vineyards after we found ourselves supporting the same fine folks at a recent event. What the fellow from RIDGE wrote is fantastic and, best of all, we had no idea it was coming. Thanks Chris, for your kind words! We think it sums us up well, and hopefully will help get you off the couch to come see us at on Tuesday and Thursday. After all, RIDGE’s wines are so good that anyone representing them must have the best taste EVER!
Cheers,
ARQ
